During the annual baptism ceremony, this past Sunday, Pope Francis, encouraged women attending to openly breastfeed.
He knew right away that the ceremony was very long and babies would be crying out of hunger.
"You mothers, go ahead and breastfeed, without fear. Just like the Virgin Mary nursed Jesus," he said as he commemorated the baptism of Jesus with the baptism of 28 children.
This is not the first time Pope Francis has been vocal about breastfeeding. In 2015, as he baptised 33 infants during the annual ceremony he told mothers in Italian to "give them milk."
Breastfeeding could not be more divine!
