Penn Station NYC Lactation Pod

The NYC MTA and Long Island Railroad has a portable mamava lactation suite at Penn Station. The handicap-accessible room is designed to be a safe, clean space for traveling breastfeeding and breast pumping moms. The breastfeeding pod has a fold down table and benches plus AC and USB power outlet to connect electric breast pumps. There is space enough for a mom and baby, her luggage, stroller, and additional children that may travel with her.

Nursing mothers can download the mamava app for an access code to enter the lactation pod.

LOCATION: Positioned in the corner of the Long Island Rail Road waiting area.

HOURS: 
Mothers can use the pod all hours of the day — they just need to check in with an LIRR customer service agent. LIRR station crews will be tasked with cleaning and maintaining the breastfeeding room.
