Buley Library

Buley Library on campus of Southern Connecticut State University has opened a new lactation room as of September 28th 2016. Breastfeeding and breastpumping moms on campus can use this room if they want more privacy. It's located in room 117.

The room is equipped with curtained sections that allow for privacy to students and faculty moms. It's decorated with furniture that already existed in Buley Library.

Amenities include: Comfortable chair, outlet, a table, wall decoration, comfortable lighting, and lockable door.

Note: State of Connecticut also legally protects a nursing mother's right to openly breastfeed whenever and wherever she may be in public or private without fear of harassment or discrimination.
