Takashimaya Shopping Centre Singapore is known for their beautiful nursing mothers rooms. Here breastfeeding and breastpumping mums can access multiple diaper-changing stations (all with individual mats) and five comfortable nursing cubicles with plenty of space to bring a stroller inside. If older siblings and dad go along, they can hang out in the seating area and watch flat screen TV. Hot water and washbasins are also provided for breastfeeding mamas.

More Details: Beautifully decorated, very spacious, relatively clean and has adequate amenities. A staff was also present to render assistance when required and ensure that the facility is not misused. The nursing room has recently been renovated such that the nursing area is a lot more spacious than before. There were 5 individual cubicles that were big enough for diaper changing tables and even a stroller inside each cubicle. There was also a sign outside that informed people that the rooms were for nursing mothers only and "strictly no males allowed". Family members could also wait in comfort at the waiting area outside and be entertained by a TV mounted on the wall. This is definitely a big improvement from the previous design. Nevertheless the improved design makes this nursing room extremely popular with parents. I personally witnessed all 5 nursing cubicles being utilised and with 4 other mothers waiting in the queue to use it (staff ensured that there was order) on an ordinary weekday afternoon! Hence, be prepared to wait or come up with plan B such as nursing under a nursing cover (like I did) or use the nursing rooms located at Ngee Ann City
