Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta - The Georgia Aquarium took us about 24 minutes of driving from the airport. We traveled by rental car during normal driving hours, not during rush hour. Children's Museum of Atlanta - The Children's Museum of Atlanta is also about a 20 minute ride from Hartsfield Airport. This depends on traffic though. Zoo Atlanta - The Atlanta Zoo is minutes from downtown Atlanta. Your smaller kids would definitely enjoy a car ride here. In our rental car, when we flew into Hartsfield and drove by Zoo Atlanta, it took us about 20 minutes on a 10 mile road, during traffic downtime. Hour during rush hour it would normally take about 30 to 40 minutes so, we recommend you avoid the rush hour drive if you can.
