Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in South Carolina

Riverbanks Zoo & Garden (Riverbanks Botanical Garden) in West Columbia, South Carolina provides a new nursing mothers room as of July 2015. Mom Nicole S. shared this location for South Carolina moms, thanks Nicole :-)

It's located in SCE&G Guest Relations Center near zoo entrance. You Must get the key to enter, Please go to the Guest Relations desk for access.

Amenities include:
Changing table, sink, rocking chair, and chairs for toddlers available. Plugs available for pumping.

Nursing moms visiting can now take a moment from animal watching to breastfeed and breastpump in the privacy of this mothers lounge.

Of course the zoo also encourage nursing moms to nurse throughout the park wherever it's safe and comfortable. Sout Carolina protects a mothers right to breastfeed in public.
