Dublin International Airport opened new dedicated baby feeding rooms in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in 2017. The new lactation rooms, which offer additional comfort and privacy for breastfeeding and breast pumping parents traveling with babies, are part of the airport's overall plan to improve facilities for passengers.

I just flew through Dublin, and was a bit nervous with how "far" away from the gates these rooms were. It was about a 10min walk from the closest baby feeding room to my departure gate, so while I had planned that as my pumping location, I ended up changing plans. Instead, I pumped in one of the baby changing rooms - ordinarily, I would never pump in a "bathroom", but at least the one that I was in (in the 400 block of Terminal 2) was truly excellent. It was a huge room, with a very spacious changing counter, a separate bathroom stall, and then a hard plastic bench built into the wall, separate from both of those other amenities. The outside door was lock-able from the inside so you can make the room completely private. It worked so much better than going back and forth to the existing baby feeding rooms, and there are loads more changing rooms scattered throughout the airport. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is in the same position!
