Walter E. Washington Convention Center (DC Convention Center) has a nursing mothers room. Great for traveling moms in attendance at events or casual visits. It's located on the lower level of concourse A. Ask specifically for "Star Center A" and it might be labeled "First Aid" outside the door instead of nursing room or breastfeeding room.

2 mamava pods. One is next to 103b. Another is right behind L street entrance security info desk on middle building level 1. You need a code to open. Today it was 8008

There is a nursing/ breastfeeding pod by the entrance on L street! So greatful for that.

Located on the lower level of concourse A (I was told to ask any convention center staff for "Star Center A") and labeled with a poster board stating "First Aid" outside the door, this isn't truly a room as much as it is a nook without a door. There is a long granite counter with one sink and one outlet for pumps, 2 chairs, and no fridge. Pales in comparison to nursing rooms in other convention centers. Two stars because at least it's clean and I don't have to pump in a restroom.

If the convention center has a lactation room/nursing room, no one that works there seems to know it exists or where to find it. I had to pump at the sink of the large 15 stall bathrooms. Very uncomfortable situation.
