Currently Newark Liberty Airport has 16 lactation spaces for traveling moms who breastfeed or express milk. These include Eight Nurseries/Nursing Rooms and eight mobile Mamava pods.

Terminal A includes interactive play areas for families.

The 4-foot-by-8-foot spaces, which are equipped with two benches and an electrical outlet. Their doors fully shut, and the rooms are large enough to fit a family of four plus luggage. There is however no sink due to the small space and lack of plumbing or running water. One mom reported "UNFORTUNATELY, TSA will NOT let you through unless you have Term B on your boarding pass. I couldn't get in this time and was hoping to pump before my long car ride. I ended up stopping to pump in the car at a rest stop :("
