Lourdes Health, Pasco Washington - Now, there's a hospital grade breast pump, a recliner donated by the oncology department, and a mini fridge donated by one of the doctors. In this small but functional room there's comfort and privacy for the new moms to care for themselves and their babies.
Moms are encouraged to display pictures of their babies in the room. The lactation room is available 24-hours a day. And, if someone can bring a staff member's baby to the hospital during a shift, they are free to take a time out to feed their baby as well.
