As summer approached and the days grew longer, my family and I eagerly anticipated our annual vacation. Last year, we decided to embark on an adventure to Possum Kingdom Lake. Never heard of it? That's OK, I got wind of it several years ago. It cannot get any crazier, than changing your baby on the floor of a crusty, nasty bathroom floor because the men's bathroom does not accommodate dads! In recent past dad, Chris Mau, posted on Facebook about having to do the very same thing. It's a huge problem. If it's the law in the United States that men's bathrooms must be equipped with a baby changing table why are locations lagging behind?? Children should not be changed on the floor of a crusty bathroom!

Sexual harassment in the workplace has exploded in Hollywood. Over a couple of months both women and men came out about being sexually harassed by their bosses and colleagues. Instead of just outcry over 300 popular actors, producers, directors, entertainment executives and more took action into their own hands to stop what has become a systemic norm in their industry. So, this has me feeling a whole bunch of emotions. As a woman, mom and entrepreneur in the tech industry gender discrimination is a constant. On August 7th CNN published an article about a Google engineer who wrote a 10 page memo about how women are "biologically" unfit to work in the tech industry. Reportedly the author of the memo cannot be identified but he is a software engineer.
