| Akron Childrens Hospital provides a dedicated lactation room for moms who have to breastfeed or breastpump for their young ones.
This mothers room is loated in the Reinberger Family Center on the 2nd Floor of the main building near the yellow elevators.
The 6,000-square-foot center is staffed and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Amenities include:
- A big screen flat panel TV
- A kitchenette with vending machines, refrigerator and microwave.
- A library with reading materials.
- A quiet area with a fireplace
- A children’s playroom,
- And of course private lactation rooms for nursing mothers
