Update Nov 14, 2018 - Detroit Metro Airport now have a dedicated nursing room for traveling breastfeeding and breast pumping mothers. Since June, nine nursing rooms have opened on the airport’s grounds in the North Terminal, the McNamara Terminal and the Michael Berry Administration Building. The nursing rooms are equipped with a comfortable chair, a sink, counter, electrical outlets and other amenities.
To ensure privacy, mothers who wish to utilize a nursing room will need to use their cell phones to call for an access code to enter the room.
Location: McNamara Terminal, moms can find four of the rooms in concourse A (near gates A15, A25, A53 and A63) and one located near gate C2 on the lower level.
Location: (Evans Terminal) North Terminal, nursing rooms can be found across from gates D8, D15 and D24.
Location: Michael Berry Administration Building, The nursing room here is provided for WCAA employees.
