Roosevelt Park Zoo is expected to have a Mamava lactation station installed next spring in the children’s area near the red barn. Moms visiting the zoo will be able to stop in to express milk or breastfeed their babies in privacy and comfort.
The free-standing Mamava lactation suite provides privacy, cleanliness, as well as space for a mom, her luggage and additional children that may be with her. It has a fold down table and benches plus AC and USB power outlets to plug in electric breast pumps for expressing milk.
