Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) in Missouri has installed a dedicated privacy mamava lactation suite for traveling mothers who need to breast pump regularly or prefer to breastfeed in a more private and quiet setting away fro the public.
The nursing mothers suite is in a centralized area located just past the security check point, and is easy to access. The room allows mothers to lock the door while they're nursing also. The suite is comfortable and private; it’s clean and well-lighted. It has USB and electrical outlets, counters, bench seating, and a mirror. There’s enough room for mom and baby, a stroller, luggage, plus another adult, or children.
Note: Missouri breastfeeding law sallows a nursing mother to openly breastfeed her baby whenever and wherever she is allowed to be, so the room is just an option for moms who don't want to publicly nurse.
