Dakota Zoo has a nursing den for visiting breastfeeding and breast pumping moms to use when they need to express breast milk or nurse their babies. 

The lactation room area itself have ample signage and the zoo maps will include the location of The Nursing Den so visitors know where to find it.

LOCATIONS: Located near the Aviary, Hawk, and Prairie Dog enclosures.

HOURS: 
Fri - Sun (1PM - 5PM)
Mon - Thurs (Closed)

Breastfeeding Bench
The bench consists of a place for moms to sit while breastfeeding or bottle feeding when out and about and includes a baby changing table. There is even a shaded cover so mom and baby are protected from the sun while using it.
