Inside Columbia University's Carman Hall on the first floor is a dedicated lactation room for nursing moms who need a private comfortable space to express breastmilk on campus.

The nursing mothers room is equipped with hospital-grade electric breast-pump, chairs, the door can be locked from inside, there's a sink, and outlet if moms want to connect their own electric pump.
