Covenant Health Plainview created a very nice, calming, and spacious lactation room Located on third floor, available to guest moms of the hospital and caregivers as a very private place to go to breastfeed or pump for their babies. The new lactation room is a soft lit, private lounge, adorned with calming art and plush leather seating.
Covenant Health Plainview also has three certified onsite lactation coaches; Summer Johnson, RN, Jyra Manciaz, LVN and Kreighton Biggs, RN and have purchased two state-of-the-art breast pumps to help coach and assist breastfeeding mothers.
