Kona International Airport in Hawaii DOES NOT have a dedicated mothers room for traveling moms who need to breastfeed or breastpump.
Moms who must express breastmilk can choose to use the airport family restrooms, though not ideal in any way for nursing a baby or expressing milk by a breastpump.
Moms can also breastpump openly if they want since Hawaii protect a moms right to breastfeed in public.
The three accessible family (unisex) restrooms are located at the: - North Terminal, east of the security checkpoint
- South Terminal (Hawaiian Airlines), south of the security checkpoint
- Ground Transportation Building (car rental check-in) across the flag pole
We've been in touch with Kona International about making it a priority to create a lactation/nursing others lounge for traveling moms with infants.
