Tucson International Airport provide traveling breastfeeding and breast pumping moms mamava lactation suites to express milk for their babies. The suites can be accessed by mothers who download the Mamava app to get a lock code.
These nursing pods are located on each of the concourses of the airport terminal. Each pod has a locking door, electricity, a fold-down table and bench seating.
- Moms departing on Southwest, Sun Country, United or Via Air will find the breastfeeding pod on the A Concourse near gate A3.
- Moms departing on Alaska, American and Delta airlines will find the pod on the B Concourse at the midway point of the concourse across from the restrooms.
There is also a family restroom located by the baggage claim. We don't like referring our moms to any room with a toilet and lacking other nursing moher amenities, but until Tucson create a dedicated room, moms have three options:
Openly breastfeed anywhere they feel comfy in the airport which Arizona state law allows. Ask information desk if there's a vacant more private space available to breastpump or breastfeed. Use the previously mentioned family restroom with the not so liked flushing toilet. |
