Not new to the blogging or journalism platforms we've seen our share in articles discussing the rights of parents when collided with the rights of the LGBT community. Specifically when it comes to double mom homes and double dad homes. Quite often I find myself needing to recognize the struggles these households deal with because of their innate human right. I also identify with these groups because I have people in my life who I love and respect who deal with these struggles.
The family dynamic has shifted and transformed with each generation in western culture. From traditional family models with 5 or more children, husband and wife to single parent households or double gender homes. And even though it's now more widely accepted the struggle continues for LGBT parents.
Just recently I read an article discussing the same topic and scrolled down to the comments, which just made me more upset. The literal hate, trolling and death threats to LGBT parents was overwhelming and absolutely unbelieveable. The positive is we get to live in a country (Unites States) where we are all free to our opinions but I can't help to pen this blog and feel even more passionate about what all types of parents have to deal with to be accepted by their peers.
In a way "mom wars" have slipped into these households but in a hateful form. Moms Pump Here supports every parenting dynamic for the health and wellnes of the beautiful children involved. Love proceeds every family dymanic.
