Happy New Year, Moms!
Effective today, January 1, 2016, female employees in New York State have improved protections to express breastmilk while at work. The updated Breastfeeding Mothers' Bill of Rights has a new addition which calls for a lactating woman to be able to take reasonable breaks to pump breastmilk for up to three years after the birth or adoption of a child.
