The state of New allow breastfeeding moms to nurse their babies anywhere they feel comfortable and is legally allowed.

Just feet away from the sand and water is a beachhouse, with First Aid station, and restaurant, shower and restroom area where moms could go to sit on side benches or inside the restaurant and breastfeed their little ones accompanying them to the beach.

Yes there are beach goers coming in and out of the small restaurant area, but it's up to you whether you want to openly breastfeed or not. We don't recommend going to the women's restroom as it is quite damp and has heavy traffic.

The sand and sunbathing stretch is also far enough from the water that you can sit comfortably on a towel or sheet under an umbrella or tent and breastfeed your baby.
