WIC Office in Columbus Texas offer a lactation room with much privacy having a lock on the door. This resource is in response to the need expressed by many breast pumping moms away from home and their baby, who must still express milk from buildup. Breastfeeding moms can choose to use this room or openly breastfeed which we encourage. Our Mother’s room has a comfortable rocking chair, soft lighting, a sink and a refrigerator. We promote and support breastfeeding families in a broader effort to normalize public breastfeeding.
