Many local mums who have found comfort in the public breastfeeding room in Happy Herb in Rockhampton. The much needed room was established by owner Amanda White and manager Frith Petersen after they noticed a lot of mums felt uncomfortable feeding in public at the cafes next door.

White and Peterson stated:
"We noticed there were a lot of mums who were going to the cafés next door and weren't feeling comfortable with feeding in public so they'd go into their hot cars or into toilets and things like that," Frith said.

"We just made a space available for them and we've found a lot of people have been using it from word of mouth or the sign out the front or Facebook posts."
